Camera

Savannah got a camera for Christmas. She is constantly taking pictures of everything. Here are some samples of her picture taking. She is actually pretty good most of the time.

She takes a lot of pictures of her babies.

Her train track she got for Christmas.

Frustrated

My sweet quiet little girl has turned into a independent, stubborn, opinionated little stinker. At two years old I HAVE to let her pick out her clothes or she rips them off and throws a fit. What am I supposed to do with that? She has never like the word no in any form and lately she is getting more and more vocal about it. So I send her to her room until she calms down, sometimes it works sometimes not. She even gets mad at her kitty if it doesn't do what she wants. This sounds like I am raising an undisciplined child but I am not she gets into trouble almost constantly.

I don't know what to do for Halloween because she has no interest in trying on costumes to see if they fit. I made her a wand to go with one of her costumes but she still wont put it on. My Mother-in-law says it is good that she is so strong willed but I am not so sure I can handle it.

Pretty Dress

Savannah got a new dress from grandma. This really expensive store in the mall was going out of business so mom go all the grand daughters a beautiful new dress.

Of course I had to do a photo shoot with her new dress. I actually got a few good ones. She must have been in a good mood that day.

Memorial Weekend

We decided to stay home and get some yard work done for Memorial weekend.
We started with finishing up planting the garden. Savannah of course had to help. It was kinda chilly and rainy that morning so that is why she has her warm coat on.

Helping daddy plant melons
The next project was trimming the shrubs and misc. bushes around our yard so that the sprinklers could be turned on for the summer. Of course I got stuck hauling the branches away. Savannah decided to help mommy with her new wagon.
Isn't she a cutie

I tried to get some video of her helping but once she saw the sprinkler she was done helping.

Singing

Around New Years Roderick's brother and his family came to visit. Their girls were sitting on the table singing so Savannah had to join in. She would get up there and sing then get down and everyone would clap. She thought this was great fun so she did it over and over. But as usual when I got the camera out she stopped doing it as much. She is becoming a big ham!!

What did you do today?

This morning started out good. Fairly non event full we went to do chores and got some fresh eggs, then we came home and I did dished while Savannah watched an episode of Jay Jay. ( Her new obsession) A little while later I was working on the computer, and then it happened hurricane Savannah hit!!!!

Her laundry hamper and toy
Her diaper pail

My scrapbooking mat. And a tiny bit of carpet.

It is hard to tell but the jars even got colored not just the box.
Her bedroom door and the bathroom door.
The culprit!
Apparently she can reach into the drawer that has the permanent markers in it. She reached in and got a black one and colored everything. To be fair the wall is colored pencil that she did a while ago. But today she got just about everything. Even the toilet seat lid. And not just the top of her diaper pail the inside of the lid too. So while I was trying to clean up that mess she goes into the bathroom opens the drawer with the band aids and starts pulling them out, also managing to spread cotton balls all over the floor too. I just keep telling myself to breath. Oh I guess she did spill her cereal all over the floor this morning and tear apart a bagel to go with the cereal on the carpet. I guess that should have been my sign that she was up to mischief today.

P.S. Hairspray gets marker out really well. Thanks mom!

Funny Hair

Savannah's hair is finally growing long enough that I can put it in piggy tails on top of her head. Eventually she ends up pulling them out and she looks like a horned child or like she has a Mohawk. And some mornings she just has some crazy hair. It usually takes a bath and a good hair cleaning to fix her crazy hair. Roderick find amusement in her hair so I thought others might too.

Weeee!! Bonk!

Savvy's cousin's were to big for their outside toys so they brought them over for her to play with. Now our lawn looks like a very spoiled child lives here. But she loves her new toys.

Birthday Party!!

Savannah had a blast at her birthday party on Saturday. She enjoyed opening her presents, of course grandma G had to give her an annoying toy. What are grandma's for after all. I think we should take it to grandma's to play with. Haha. Savannah hasn't yet figured out how to stand and make it pop she like to sit and pop it. I made her a little lady bug cake with M&M's and licorice on it. While we were getting pictures of it she decided to help herself to the M&M's. Finally we gave her her own piece and after a little picking at it she dug in. And it was yummy. She was a very messy kido. So after we got her all cleaned up and dressed again. Dad, Papa, and Uncle F unloaded and put together some toys for her to play with. And boy did she play and play and play. She was sooo very tired by the end of the party. Thanks to all that could make it.

Before the party I blew up all the balloons and let Savvy play with them. It was pretty cute. She wasn't quite sure what to do with them.

Behold the cake!!
Cute Huh
