Pop goes my heart!!

Last night we watched a movie called Music and Lyrics. It has a funny 80's music video on it, and Savannah thought it was great fun to dance to. Unfortunately by the time I got the camera out she decide she was tired so she keeps stopping. I also forgot to turn the lights on sorry not the best quality video I have ever taken but you can see her shaking her booty anyways. PS the music video is called Pop goes my heart, you can kinda hear it and see it in the back ground.

First Pumpkin Carving

Somehow this picture got left out of the pumpkin patch ones. Savannah thought this hugh pumpkin was her seat. Why she is so obsessed with sitting on things I don't know. She just is. Monday night for family home evening we carved Savannah's pumpkin. She thought this was great fun.
This is her scooping the guts like Daddy. She didn't get nearly as messy as I thought she would.

She didn't seem to like to grab the guts out with her hands. She insistaed on using the scoop, and not letting us help her much.

Tada all done!! Yeah we aren't very creative around here. I was doing good to get Roderick to do that much.

Pumpkin Patch

The other day my sister, Roderick and I took the kids to the Pumpkin Patch to pick out there own pumpkins. The pumpkins were pretty much picked over but we still found some good ones. We even managed to find one to sit one and take pictures of. These are my silly nephews. They take you on a hay ride to get to and from the patch. Savannah was in awe of the tractor. She could have cared less of the fact that she was getting a ride. (She loves to ride things, horses, bikes, her dump truck, etc..)

They had decorations all put up so that you could take pictures. So of course we did.

My little bug loves to catch bugs. She had more fun trying to catch the squash bugs than she did picking out a pumpkin.

I did manage to get some of her pumpkin hunting.

This is the one she and Daddy decided on. Cute huh.

Grape Juice!!

This week yet again I was canning. I canned grape juice for two days. I ended up getting 80 quarts of juice. This is a picture of what Savannah worked on this week. This too. She was a very busy girl. To be fair she did have some help. Her cousin Mattie came to play one day and the next day Ashlyn and Clayton came to play. They all had a blast destroying the house. Oh well they were out of my way.

Thanks to my awsome sister-in-laws for all their help this week. This is my finished product. I also canned 36 pints of pickled beets on Friday, but I forgot to take a picture. I am done canning for the year. All out of jars!!!

Hats!!

Savvy has a new toy, her hats. she has decided that hats are really cool. Every morning she finds one to wear. Usually it is the purple one below, I think because it is easy to put on. I keep her hats in a decorative box and she carries it around the house trying on her hats. I tried to get pictures of different hats but I could only get these. She even had to wear one to town the other day.
