Camera

Savannah got a camera for Christmas. She is constantly taking pictures of everything. Here are some samples of her picture taking. She is actually pretty good most of the time.

She takes a lot of pictures of her babies.

Her train track she got for Christmas.

Gingerbread house

We are getting better at building our gingerbread house. This year it is still standing. Savannah did an excellent job of decorating it.

She even enjoyed some of the green frosting.

Story Time

Savannah loves the book Dragon In A Wagon. Every night she has Daddy read it to her before bed. The other day she decided to read to her babies. Not sure why she choose to do it under the Christmas tree other than she thinks that is a great place to play. She was really reading to them, until I got the camera out of course. I was amazed that she had it memorized almost as much as me.

Random

I got a hold of my mom's camera the other day and got some random pictures of Savannah off. So I thought I would post them just for the fun of it. These are all from last winter.

Mom had to work the day after Christmas and when she came home she was exhausted. Apparently Sydney and Savannah missed her all day so they climbed up next to her and snuggled in. Even though she was a sleep and didn't really know they were doing it.
Don't like this picture of me so much but Savannah's outfit is soo cute I had to post it. Merry Christmas!

Bye Bye Tree

Well it is January 2nd so it is time to take down the village and tree. FINALLY!! I took one last picture of Savannah with the village. Isn't she cute. Hope you all have a Happy New Year.

Merry Christmas!

Savannah had a very busy first Christmas. Christmas eve we went to grandma Austin's and had finger foods and the kids acted out the nativity. Then Christmas morning she woke up at 8 am and got to finally attack the presents mom kept telling her she couldn't have. She required very little help. She is a natural holy tearer. When she was done it was off to great grandma Tschida's for breakfast. Roderick stayed home to prepare dinner for later. At one o clock Ginny and Frank, grandma and grandpa Tschida and Colleen and gage came over for dinner and more present opening. She got pretty spoiled by grandma. I finally put her down for a nap at four and she was soo tired she slept until 6 pm.

To Fast

My baby is the cutest, smartest most adorable baby ever. I am not bias either. Last week she started crawling and hasn't stopped. Apparently that is not good enough though, now she is pulling herself up to things and trying to walk around the furniture. She hasn't gotten the holding on and getting sturdy yet so she falls allot and gets mad. She is just growing way to fast for herself and me. She hasn't even figured out how to sit up from laying down yet. She just crawls over to something and pulls herself up. Yesterday she was supposed to be taking a nap and instead I found her doing this. Standing in her crib just as proud of herself as can be. It kinda makes me sad to see her grow so fast. But it is exciting at the same time.

Let It Snow!!

Sunday morning we woke up to several inches of snow. It was a beautiful site. Pretty soon it started snowing again. It continued all day long. It snowed and snowed and snowed, big hugh flakes. It was so pretty. It was supposed to snow more today but it didn't. Looks like we are going to have a white Christmas after all.

Seven Months

Savannah just turned seven months old on Sunday. She is growing so so fast. She has been thinking about crawling for a couple of weeks now. And has been trying to pull herself up on things. Today she finally decided to crawl. I tried to get it on video but she wouldn't do it for me. She also figured out that she can pull herself up in her crib and stand holding onto the rail. She is so big. I couldn't keep her out of the village today either. Last week she pulled herself up to the coffee table and stood next to it. She is getting to be such a big girl.

We got our Christmas tree and village up. The village went up this year in record time. Only one day!! It still needs a little miner work but it is up.
This year we even have the Christmas Story house. Yes that's right, Loren told Roderick that Sears had it last year so of course we had to get it. We even have the school and the kid with his tongue stuck to the flag pole. Oh yeah and we have the Bumperton Hounds (or what ever their name is).

Now I have a full time job of keeping Savannah out of it all. She already found it and tried to eat the snow.
