Cupboard Fun

This week my little helper found out how to open the kitchen cupboards. She figured out how to open them, drag out the dishes and climb in. I actually was able to get it on tape. She did get temporarily hurt during the filming of this clip. But she is ok and has since gotten into the cupboards. She also found out she can climb on top of the dish washer door and stand up. Some days I wonder why I clean my house at all.

Snow Geese

Every morning lately I hear this noise over my house. If you step outside or look out a window this is what you see. Hundreds of geese flocking in the corn Fields. They all fly from one to the other at the same time. Savannah has had a good time watching them. Yesterday morning she was watching them out the window and when they flew past the window she cranked her head trying to see where they went. It was so cute. Not sure why all these geese like our house or how long they will be here, but Savannah finds them quite interesting.

A Full Month

This has been a Pretty busy month. It all started with taking Savannah to the Doctor once again for her wheezing. This time they said we just had to tough it out. So lack of sleep leads me to getting a cold again too. And of course Roderick had to join the fun. I am sooo tired of this being sick junk. Moving on .... the weekend before last Autumn and Chris came to visit. So we spent the weekend at mom's. Miss Savannah doesn't like to sleep very long if she isn't at home so she got extremely tired and slept good at night (yea). Roderick spent a whole day cleaning out the stove and dishwasher. It is amazing how less dusty the house is now, and how much less it smokes up the house. The dishwasher works better too. This weekend Luke and Becky came to visit. So once again Savannah and I spent the weekend over at mom's. This is a picture of all the granddaughters in their pretty Christmas dresses.

We also went to see donkey basketball in Vale Saturday night. It was pretty funny. I defiantly recommend seeing it if you get a chance. Ginny's girls clogged at half time and they were very cute.
I also started to take a class to figure out how to use my camera better. I was playing around with the different settings the other night while Roderick was busily helping Josh build forms for his eagle project. As usual Roderick has been busy doing his projects.
Savannah turned ten months old on Saturday. Hard to believe how fast time flies. She will now take a bottle pretty good. As long as mom is the one feeding her. Before I know it it will be time to take her to school.

Nap Time?

This should teach Roderick to take a nap at mom's house. We went over to visit because Autumn and Chris were visiting. All the guys were watching a movie and Roderick took a nap, so mom dressed him up. When he woke up he didn't even realize he had the hat on until we started laughing at him and pointed it out. Word to the wise be care full where you fall asleep. Love ya honey!!

Bubbles and Bath Time

The other day Savannah was getting cranky and needed a bath, so I asked her "do you want to take a bath." And she answered "ba". So I asked her again and this time she got kinda mad at me like she was saying I already told you yes, and she answered "ba" again. So I took her hands and told her to take me to the bathroom. She led me right into the bathroom and walked over to the tub and try ed to climb in. It was amazing to realize that she knew what I was talking about and actually answered me.

Today during breakfast she figured out how to blow bubbles in her milk. I am trying to wean her so I gave her formula in a bottle and gave her a straw to try and trick her into drinking it. It kinda worked she drank some and then started to blow threw the straw. It was so cute I couldn't help myself I had to laugh. So of course she laughed and continued to do it. She is soo funny and becoming such a little person. With a big attitude. This is one of her temper tantrums.

Short weekend

On Saturday we took our first road trip in our new car. We headed to twin falls for Maja and Christyn's baptism. Savannah did really well traveling down, on the way back she had enough of the car. It was a long ride for one day but we were glad to be able to support the girls. We are so proud of their decision to be baptised and they looked so beautiful in there white dresses. Congratulations Maja and Christyn.
