What I've been up to.

I am taking a cake decorating class. It is so much fun. The funny thing is Roderick doesn't like cake. So I made this one at class and took it to mutual for some of the girls birthdays.

Savannah's Easter dress. Now I just have to convince her to wear it.

It is supposed to have bloomers to. I might get them done today.

Random

Roderick and Savannah wanted some Ice cream the other day so I went up town and found two different sized sundae cones.
Morgan and Sydney come to stay with us for a couple of days during their spring break. The weather wasn't very nice so this is the only picture I got of the three of them. Savannah LOVES her big cousins.

Cake

For a few years I have been wanting to take a cake decorating class, but they always seem to be at a bad time so I've just been kinda playing around and teaching myself. I finally decided to take a class. Our first class we learned how to make stars so today I was practicing making stars on cookies. Savannah wanted a Ladybug cookie so I made her a really cute one out of stars. However she devoured it before I could get a picture.

I am once again trying to potty train Savannah. One day she wanted me to make her some cup cakes, so I told her that if she stayed dry all day we could make a cake. She stayed dry almost all day. She had an accident right after she got to frost and eat some of the cake.

She frosted it "all myself" as she says it.

This child loves cake. She mostly loves cup cakes but I didn't want to make them.

Rainy Day

Most of March was rainy and cold. One day it was raining pretty good out and Savannah decided to go out and play in the rain. She was soaked in a matter of seconds, but loved every second of it.

Spring Cleaning

I have been thinking for a while that I have to much clutter in my house. The amount of stuff that I am storing "just in case" I ever have another baby is ridiculous! I told Roderick that I have been thinking about getting rid of some of the baby stuff. I guess this took him a little by surprise because his response was so are you giving up? Am I? I don't know yes and no, it depends on the day. But to day I have decided that some of the stuff I am storing really doesn't cost that much to replace and some of it I never used anyways. So how do I decide what to get rid of and what to keep? I have tons of toys that are to young for Savvy and the baby clothes are taking over. I just realized that I have one over flowing tote full of 0-3 mth and another overflowing tote plus a small box of 3-6mth. Two totes of just dresses, a large tote plus a box of 18-2t clothes. No wonder I can't find room for anything in my store room it is full of baby clothes and empty jars. I can't get rid of the jars though.

I have been working on the store room for about three hours now and I have the shelves all reorganized. Now to clean up the mess I made reorganizing. I need a break and then I will get back to it all. On the one hand Savannah is very entertained by the baby stuff and old toys that I had stored away.

Hopefully with all my spring cleaning spring will soon come.

Whole Wheat Bread

I bought a wheat grinder the other day so I had to try it out. I made some yummy bread, however I don't think I let it rise long enough because it was really heavy. I guess I need more practice.

Random Sillyness

Savannah was coloring with chalk the other day and got it everywhere. I did her hair in two braids for the first time too and it looked really cute on her.

She thought I had to take a picture of her train. She loves to play trains, she plays them almost all day long.

Savannah wanted to take pictures the other night so I helped her. This is Grandma and Grandpa Austin. They came over for dinner.

And last but not least a handsome picture of Daddy.
