Random Sillyness

Savannah was coloring with chalk the other day and got it everywhere. I did her hair in two braids for the first time too and it looked really cute on her.

She thought I had to take a picture of her train. She loves to play trains, she plays them almost all day long.

Savannah wanted to take pictures the other night so I helped her. This is Grandma and Grandpa Austin. They came over for dinner.

And last but not least a handsome picture of Daddy.

Big Helper!

Savannah has decided that she needs to be a helper. No matter what I am doing she want to help. She has to sit on the counter and help cook. Daddy was making dinner one night and she had to help.

This is her don't take my picture run.

Happy Valentines

Roderick doesn't like to celebrate birthday's or valentines day so I decided that me and Savannah would celebrate with out him. We went to town and got a cake mix and frosting (with sprinkles of course) and we made "pup cakes". Savannah got to help decorate them and eat them when they were all done. I took this picture because she looked so cute with frosting all over her face.

Upon looking at it further I realized that she looks exactly like her cousin Emma. People told me when she was born that she looked like her but I didn't see it much until this picture. I guess there is some Austin in her after all.

She really enjoyed her "pup cakes" and making "balentimes for her cousins".

We even had to get Daddy his own train for valentines day so they could play together. Savvy got a teddy bear that sings, she cuddles with it every night.

Savannah's Big Girl Quilt

I decided to make Savannah a quilt for Christmas, I started making it on November. I finally finished it Tuesday February 2nd. I didn't work on it very steadily or I would've been done sooner. I was going to quilt it by hand but decided to machine quilt it. I am pretty happy with how it turned out. Savannah loves it too.

So tired

Last Thursday Savannah woke up at 5:45 am. Then she got to go play with her cousin for a few hours. When we got home she was cranky and I had to bring groceries in from the car so I sat her down just inside the front door and told her to go get her blankie. When I got back she had laid down and fell asleep. I didn't want to wake her up so I just put her blankie on her and let her sleep. Her kitty decided she looked nice and cozy so she took a nap with her.

Christmas 2010

Savannah was really excited for Santa to come this year. She didn't really understand why he wasn't at our house when she woke up. But she had fun opening her presents anyways. We took her out several times to look at all the Christmas lights and she loved it. She would tell me to stop the car so she could just sit and look at them.

Mountain Mamma

Roderick taught Savannah a new song she sings it pretty cute. This is the best video I could get.
